SHOP WITH ME: SEPHORA!
Yesterday, I went to Sephora and finally bit the bullet on some products I've been eyeing for a while. I'm expecting a phone call from my dad this week about my little Sephora splurge (pray for me). To be fair, makeup is so expensive! I go into Sephora just needing one thing and I leave with six new things! Most of the time I forget what I went for in the first place. It's like target but worse.I'm always on the hunt for the next best primer because my skin has been crazy dry lately. I watched Allana Davidson's recent youtube video and she could not stop raving about the new Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer. Naturally, I decided to pick it up and test it for myself. So far, this primer seems promising. It's not a thick silicone-feeling primer, so I'm not sure how it will be for the pores. I'm excited to see how my foundation wears on top of it.
I didn't have to think twice about this next purchase. I have not stopped hearing good things about the new Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. From what I've heard, it's lightweight while still giving amazing coverage, right up my alley. I put this foundation on today for the first time and noticed that it reduced the look of pores on my face and smoothed any texture I had on my skin. I will definitely keep you guys posted on how I feel about this foundation but so far so good!!
I also picked up the new Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Enchantress. This eyeshadow is on another level. If you're looking for that wearable pop of glitter and color on your eyes you need this in your life. Sometimes I get sick of using the same colors in my eyeshadow pallets and want to change it up. Definitely, a must have.
I picked up possibly the best facial spray that I have used in my life. A few years ago when I was in Canada I stopped by Sephora with my mom and sister and purchased the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. This is just too good. It smells like you're at a spa and just makes you feel so refreshed and rejuvenated. Highly highly recommend for skincare and for setting makeup!
I finished my Sephora binge with a few essentials that I just needed to stock up on. A beauty blender, I mean do I even have to discuss why I love this so much? It is the best way to apply your foundation, concealer, and powder. This thing will change your makeup game. I also picked up a few of the Sephora face masks. They hydrate my skin and make it feel supple and glowy. All of them are really good, pick one up next time you're at Sephora, they're only $6!
